SOLENOID VALVE

The invention relates to a solenoid valve (1) comprising a valve body (60) and a valve seat (50), wherein the valve body (60) is movable along a movement axis (A) between a closed position and an open position, the valve body (60) rests on a valve seat (50) and closes the opening (55) of a media connection (51) in the closed position and is lifted from the valve seat (50) and releases the opening (55) of the media connection (51) in the open position, and comprising an armature (20) and a pole tube (10), wherein the armature (20) is mounted in the pole tube (10) so as to be axially slidable between a first and a second end position, the armature (20) assumes the first end position in the deenergised state and is shifted towards the second end position when energised and in the process moves the valve body (20) from the closed position towards the open position, wherein the armature (20), in relation to the valve body (60), is nested so as to be radially outwardly positioned and is at least partially axially overlapping, and the valve body (60) is at least partially axially overlapping in relation to the pole tube (10).
