Zusammenfassung:	The invention proceeds from a transport device (10a; 10b) for transporting products (12a, 14a; 12b, 14b), with a transport unit (18a; 18b) which comprises at least one transport element (20a; 20b) and at least one further transport element (22a; 22b), on each of which a product (12a, 14a; 12b, 14b) can be arranged for transport, with a drive unit (26a; 26b) for driving the transport element (20a; 20b) and the further transport element (22a; 22b) relative to a drive surface (28a; 28b) of the drive unit (26a; 26b), and with at least one control unit (30a; 30b) for actuating the drive unit (26a; 26b). It is proposed that the control unit (30a; 30b) has at least one control routine, in the case of which the control unit (30a; 30b) actuates the drive unit (26a; 26b) for a movement of the further transport element (22a; 22b) in a manner which is at least dependent on a mass parameter and on a movement parameter of the transport element (20a; 20b).
