Zusammenfassung:A DRX operation status of a terminal device is determined based on whether the terminal device operates in an extended DRX (eDRX) mode. A DRX cycle of the terminal device is determined based on the determination of the operation status. The DRX operation status may indicate whether an eDRX configured by an upper layer or radio resource control RRC signalling is allowed. The terminal device may be determined to operate in the eDRX mode by determining that the terminal device operates in eDRX in an RRC_idle state or an RRC_inactive state which may be configured by the inclusion of eDRX-allowedinactive in SIB1.
