Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure concerns polypeptide having fumonisin esterase activity exhibiting increased fumonisin esterase activity, when measured at a temperature of at least 37°C, when compared to the control polypeptide comprising the amino acid of SEQ ID NO: 3. The polypeptides of the present disclosure include one or more amino acid variations which contribute to the increase fumonisin esterase activity. The present disclosure also includes compositions comprising the polypeptide having fumonisin esterase activity, methods for detoxifying a fumonisin mycotoxin as well as processes for making the compositions comprising the polypeptide having fumonisin esterase activity.
