Provided are a sample analysis apparatus and a sample analysis method. The sample analysis method includes: measuring a sample according to each of particle test items in a particle test item set to obtain corresponding test result, the sample being a blood sample or a body fluid sample; obtaining a display mode of the sample, the display mode including a first display mode and a second display mode, where the first display mode is configured to display a first test result, which belongs to measure the test sample according to particle test items in a first test item set, and the second display mode is configured to display a second test result, which belongs to measure the test sample according to particle test items in a second test item set. The disclosure enables the determination and analysis of the blood sample and the body fluid sample to be completed in the same determination mode or without distinguishing a blood determination mode from a body fluid determination mode.
