Zusammenfassung:	Described is a water supply system (12) for use in an aircraft (10), and a method for preventing blockages in a water supply system (12) in an aircraft (10). The system (12) comprises a central water tank (14) comprising a fluid inlet (16) and a fluid outlet (20), a supply conduit (24) for permitting fluid flow from the outlet (16) of the central water tank (14) to a user equipment (26), wherein the at least a section of the supply conduit (24) is connected and thermally coupled to an aircraft air duct (32) so as to enable a transfer of thermal energy to the supply conduit (24) therefrom to maintain the temperature of the water in the supply conduit (24) above the freezing temperature thereof.
