A humidifier of the present invention includes: a housing; a heating water tank disposed within the housing, with a heater placed at the bottom; a humidification water tank disposed within the housing, and connected to the heating water tank to be supplied with water from the heating water tank; a vaporization unit for vaporizing water contained in the humidification water tank; and a drainage pipe connected to the heating water tank, for draining the water contained in the heating water tank.
