The invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and, in particular, to a box or box-like transport container that can provide a high degree of thermal insulation. More particularly, the present invention relates to storage containers that comprise a box or box-like container that can be hand-held. In the field of logistics, there is a widespread requirement to protect a thermally sensitive load to ensure that certain types of produce and materials do not to pass through certain temperature thresholds.
