Zusammenfassung:	The present description concerns an ultrasound imaging device (100) comprising an assembly (101) of ultrasound transducers, and an acoustic coupling layer (140) coating said assembly (101) of ultrasound transducers, wherein the acoustic coupling layer (140) is made of an activatable polymer material configured to have a first Young's modulus during a phase of acquisition of an ultrasound image and a second Young's modulus greater than the first Young's modulus outside of said acquisition phase.
