Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to new stable pharmaceutical compositions containing 2-[(4S)-8-fluoro-2- [4-(3 -methoxyphenyl)piperazin- 1 -yl] -3 - [2-methoxy-5 -(trifluoromethyl)phenyl] -4H-quinazolin-4-yl] acetic acid and potassium ions that are essentially free from complexing solubilizing agents, such as PEG, cyclodextrin, lysine, arginine, in particular HPBCD. The invention further relates to methods of preparation of said pharmaceutical compositions. The invention further relates to use of said pharmaceutical compositions in methods of treatment ofand/or as a prophylactic for illnesses, particularly its use as an antiviral, preferably against cytomegaloviruses.
