Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a medical imaging apparatus, in particular an endoscope, exoscope and/or laparoscope, comprising: a light source for illuminating a region to be viewed, an optical system, and an image-capturing device for capturing image information relating to the region to be viewed; wherein the light source has a first excitation spectrum and a second excitation spectrum and the optical system has a filter device having a filter spectrum, and the optical system supplies the image information relating to the region to be viewed, which is illuminated by the relevant excitation spectrum, to the image capturing device in a manner filtered by the filter spectrum; wherein the light source, the image capturing device and/or the optical system are or is designed to be exchangeable with one another by means of an exchange device in order to create different operating modes; wherein the first excitation spectrum is emitted in a first test step and the second excitation spectrum is emitted in a subsequent second test step, and, for the relevant test step, the test unit carries out a comparison of the spectral distribution of the filtered image information with a reference spectral distribution such that correctly paired allocation of the relevant image capturing device to the relevant optical system and/or to the relevant light source is confirmed for the relevant test steps when the spectral distribution is consistent with the reference spectral distribution. |
