Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a compartment (1) for a device liable to give off heat during its operation, the device being in particular an electrical energy storage device (9) for a vehicle, said compartment comprising at least one cavity (2) arranged so as to receive the electrical device, at least one beam (3) forming a lateral wall of this cavity, and a cover that is designed to be joined together with the beam in order to close the cavity, in which compartment (1) the beam (3) comprises a core made of a composite material containing a plastic material and reinforcing elements, for example made of glass or carbon fibers, either the beam or the cover (5) comprising at least one metal element (9), the compartment further comprising at least one metal gripper (40).
