Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for controlling at least one cooking appliance, comprising the following steps: monitoring a cooking hob (10) comprising at least one cooking zone (100); detecting a movement in at least one region (130) of the cooking hob (10); evaluating the monitoring data of the region in order to determine whether a cooking vessel (2) has been placed on the cooking hob (10); and activating at least a part of the cooking appliance (10) if the evaluation indicates the placement of the cooking vessel (2) on the cooking hob (10). The invention also relates to a system (1) for carrying out the method.
