Zusammenfassung:	A rotating electric machine (60) comprising a rotor (62,286), a rotating shaft (70) and a bearing (400) supporting the shaft in a housing (22,27). The shaft (66,70) comprises a plurality of shaft portions (70a-70e), their outer diameters become larger in a stepwise manner from the first portion (70a) until a fourth portion (70d). The second shaft portion (70b) is smaller in diameter than a third shaft portion (70c). A plurality of groove shaped flow paths (230) are formed in said second shaft portion (70b) by being recessed inwardly in radial direction and extend in axial direction and form a portion of the rotor internal flow path (250). An inner circumferential surface of said bearing (400) covers said groove shaped flow paths (230) and whereby enabling a liquid coolant (CO) to flow through a rotor internal flow path (250) on an inner side of said rotor in axial direction.
