Said device comprises: at least one proximity sensor (CP) positioned within a recess formed in an element (EP) of the device forming a projection in the vicinity of the keypad, the proximity sensor being oriented toward the keypad, the proximity sensor delivering measurements; means for analysing said measurements, delivering information representative of the presumed presence of a spy device on the keypad when the measurements are higher than a predetermined threshold for a predetermined time period.
