Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of this application provide an image processing method and an electronic device, and relate to the field of image processing technologies. The method includes: obtaining display information of a to-be-displayed image at current target backlight luminance of a display and display information of the to-be-displayed image at luminance that is of the display and that is higher than the current target backlight luminance, and obtaining display information of the to-be-displayed image based on the two types of display information, so that display effect of the image can be improved in a scenario in which backlight of the display is adjustable.
