Zusammenfassung:An apparatus comprises an analyte sensor (138) and a sensor carrier (402) attached to the analyte sensor (138). The analyte sensor (138) comprises an elongated body, a first electrode (211a) in electrical communication with a first conductive contact (408), and a second electrode (212a) in electrical communication with a second conductive contact (406). The sensor carrier (402) includes first and second conductive portions (412, 410) disposed on an intermediate body, the first and second conductive portions (412, 410) being in electrical communication with the first and second conductive contacts (408, 406). The first and second conductive portions (412, 410) form a connection portion configured to establish electrical communication between the first and second conductive contacts (408, 406) and a separate device.
