Zusammenfassung:	A novel method for determining the potency of an antibody is provided. In addition, methods and kits for the production, quality control and batch release of pharmaceutical compositions comprising antibody-based drugs are provided. Furthermore, cyclic compounds based on peptides comprising epitopes from amylotropic proteins involved in systemic amyloidosis are described, which are generally useful for antibody potency and antibody binding assays, and for screening and obtaining antibodies of interest.
