Zusammenfassung:	Nanoparticle compositions, electrospun nonwoven material compositions, and methods of making the same are disclosed. The nanoparticles may be made by electrospinning a composition including a sacrificial polymer and first and second ion species into fibers, and decomposing at least a portion of the sacrificial polymer. The nanoparticles may include an electroactive compound. The nanoparticles may include a catalytically active compound. The nanoparticles may further be included in a composition prepared into a nonwoven material. The nonwoven material may be used to prepare battery compositions. The battery compositions may include an electrode that includes the nanoparticles.
