Zusammenfassung:A tyre (1; 100) for vehicle wheels comprises a tread band (2), on which there is defined a tread pattern which is formed by respective pluralities of grooves and blocks (40) which are formed on the tread band (2). There is identified on the tread pattern at least one pitch (M) which extends axially on the tread band (2) and which is repeated over the entire circumferential development of the tread band. The pitch (M) has a mean pitch length between 10 mm and 18 mm and the blocks (40), at least in a central region (6) of the tread band (2), are solid blocks.
