Zusammenfassung:	A pin puller assembly, a column assembly, and methods of assembling and operating a pin puller assembly. The pin puller assembly may be operable to pull a pin from a machine having a frame supporting the pin. The pin puller assembly may generally include a piston-cylinder unit; a pull rod positionable through a piston passage, the second rod end being connectable to the pin to be pulled; a reaction member engageable between the rod and the piston; and a column assembly positionable between the cylinder and the frame, the column assembly including a first column member connectable to the cylinder and having a first length along the axis, and a second column member releasably lockable to the first column member and having a second length along the axis. The reaction member may include a split reaction member assembly.
