Zusammenfassung:An electric propulsion system includes : - a first stator segment (102A) including first teeth (104A-104I) and first coils (106A-106I) wound around the first teeth, - a second stator segment (102B) including second teeth (104J-104R) and second coils (106J-106R) wound around the second teeth, wherein a gap (110) exists in circumferential direction between first stator segment and second stator segment, - a rotor frame (112) and a plurality of rotor magnets (114), being attached to the rotor frame and configured to rotate the rotor in response to a current being provided to first or second coils and - a propeller (116) including a first blade (118A) being attached at its first distal end (120A) to the rotor frame and a second blade (118B) being attached at its second distal end (120B) to the rotor frame.
