Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a breastfeeding device (1) for an infant, the device enabling analysis of true forces applied by the infants tongue and jaw movements during suckling, i.e. when suckling milk or formulae for the purpose of nourishment. The breastfeeding device (1) comprises an artificial nipple (10) with at least one cavity (11) within said artificial nipple (10), encompassed by the material of the artificial nipple (10). The cavity (11) is fluidically connected to a resilience system (RS), enabling control of the resilience of the artificial nipple (10) by adjusting the resilience of the at least one cavity (11) through the principle of hydraulics. The cavity (11) is further fluidically connected to a pressure sensor (PS) enabling measurement of any force applied to the artificial nipple (10), and the measurements from the pressure sensor is provided to a user, such as a paediatrician, for decision support relating to diagnosis of the infant. |
