Zusammenfassung:Described herein is a method. The method includes providing a filtration medium comprising a functionalized microporous membrane, wherein the functionalized microporous membrane comprises a plurality of guanidyl groups; contacting a biological fluid comprising a target with the filtration medium, wherein the biological fluid has a pH equal to or greater than an isoelectric point of the target; and eluting the target from the filtration medium with a second fluid to obtain a target solution, wherein the second fluid has a pH less than the pH of the biological fluid and less than an isoelectric point of the target.
