DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING LIGHT SOURCES IN GAZE TRACKING USING GLINT

Provided are a device and a method for controlling light sources in gaze tracking using a glint. The method may comprise: a plurality of light sources generating glints in the right and left eyes; a first camera which outputs, to a first optical driver, a first control signal for controlling odd-numbered light sources among the plurality of light sources according to a pattern; a second camera which outputs, to a second optical driver, a second control signal for controlling even-numbered light sources among the plurality of light sources according to the pattern; the first optical driver which controls the odd-numbered light sources according to the first control signal; the second optical driver which controls the even-numbered light sources according to the second control signal; and a processor which transmits an activation signal to the first camera and the second camera commanding operation according to the pattern, and transmits a control command commanding operation according to the first control signal to the first optical driver and commanding operation according to the second control signal to the second optical driver.
