PLASMA TREATMENT DEVICE FOR PLASMA TREATMENT OF A SKIN SURFACE

The invention relates to a plasma treatment device for treating a skin surface containing live cells by means of a dielectric barrier plasma, comprising: - a housing having a handle part; - a treatment head disposed on the housing; - an electrode assembly which is provided on the treatment head and which has at least one electrode and a dielectric completely covering the electrode toward the skin surface to be treated, the dielectric having a treatment surface and having a surface portion which comprises the treatment surface and which protrudes from the treatment head toward the surface to be treated; and - a high-voltage stage for generating high-voltage signals required for the production of the plasma, the high-voltage stage being disposed in the housing and being electrically contacted or contactable with the at least one electrode of the electrode assembly by means of a connecting assembly comprising at least one high-voltage line; characterized in that the dielectric of the electrode assembly is at least partially made of a polyurethane gel which is not a hydrogel.
