X-RAY INSPECTION APPARATUS

An X-ray inspection apparatus 1 includes: a conveyance unit 4 that conveys an article G; an X-ray irradiation unit 5 that irradiates the article G conveyed by the conveyance unit 4 with an X-ray; an X-ray detection unit 6 that detects the X-ray that has transmitted through the article G; an inspection unit that generates an X-ray transmission image from the X-ray detected by the X-ray detection unit 6 and inspects the article G on the basis of the X-ray transmission image; a housing 2 that houses the X-ray irradiation unit 5 and the X-ray detection unit 6; a cold air blower 9 that cools air in the housing 2 and guides cold air to the X-ray detection unit 6 via a duct 17; a monitoring unit 19 that monitors a state of the cold air blower 9; and a control unit 8 that stops the supply of electric power to the X-ray detection unit 6 in a case where an abnormality in the cold air blower 9 is detected in the monitoring unit 19.
