Zusammenfassung:	This application discloses a data transmission method and a communication system. The method includes: A first home device sends a first message in a Bluetooth manner in response to receiving a first user input. A first terminal obtains a first identifier carried in the first message, and establishes a Bluetooth transmission channel with the first home device. The first home device sends usage record data to the first terminal through the Bluetooth transmission channel. The first terminal sends the usage record data to a server. In the entire data transmission process, a user only needs to start the first home device. In a working process of the first home device, the first home device automatically establishes the Bluetooth transmission channel with the first terminal, and the first home device automatically transmits data to the first terminal. The home device automatically transmits the data to the server without an additional operation of the user. This improves user experience.
