According to the invention, the DC-to-DC converter has multiple DC-to-DC converter modules with electric input voltages and output voltages which differ from one another, said modules being designed in the form of a common integrated assembly and being electrically connectable together in order to form multiple sub-systems (A, B, C) such that an electric high voltage can be converted into different electric low voltages. The invention additionally relates to a component assembly (1) for an electric high-voltage onboard electrical system of a vehicle.
