Zusammenfassung:Method and apparatus for treating cancer using non-contact induced electric fields (iEFs) generated by time-dependent magnetic fields. A portable induction coil and its associated power source may be placed proximity to a patient who would continuously, or for a pre-determined duration, wear the induction coil and external power supply until treatment is completed as determined by standard diagnostic techniques, such CT scans, PET scans, ultrasound, biopsy, etc. The portable induction coil may be provided as a device that attaches to a patient, integrally part of a fabric worn by the patient, or embedded in a mattress or other piece of furniture on which the patient would sleep or rest.
