Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a helically toothed drive belt comprising a base body of elastomeric material having teeth spaced apart in a tooth pitch, a plurality of tensile cords being arranged in the base body in a longitudinal direction and being enclosed by the elastomeric material of the base body. The tensile cords are made from a single twisted yarn of p-aramid. According to the invention, the outer diameter of the tensile cords is between 0.25 mm to 0.5 mm.
