WOOD SHAPING METHOD

The present invention relates to a method for shaping a wooden object, comprising the following steps: - obtaining a blank by cutting a piece of wood in a direction transverse to the fibres of the wood; - positioning the blank using a mould; - pressing the blank by means of a shaping press brought to bear against a free surface of the blank, by exerting pressure in a direction parallel to the fibres of the wood, characterised in that the pressure during pressing is greater than 1.5*106 N/m2, in that the pressing is carried out under cold conditions, in that the pressing is carried out under dry conditions, and in that the mould comprises a positioning flank that bears against the blank during the pressing and forms a first angle that does not exceed 5° with the fibres of the wood of the blank positioned in the mould, and/or in that the shaping press comprises a punching flank that bears against the blank during the pressing, the second punching flank forming a second angle that does not exceed 5° with the fibres of the wood of the blank positioned in the mould. The present invention also relates to a wooden object obtained by this method.
