The film (1) according to the invention is distinguished by a slotted perforation (10) consisting of slots (11) in a planar arrangement and also without release of material. In order to produce such a slotted perforation (10), a perforation roller cutter (40) inserted into a cutting plotter (30) can be guided linearly over and into an unperforated film.
