Zusammenfassung:A tool (42; 72) for ultrasonic impact grinding apparatus driven to vibrate along a longitudinal axis (A) at an applied operating frequency includes a tool body (48; 74) disposed on the longitudinal axis (A), a first tip (56; 80) extending from an output end (54; 78) of the tool body (48; 74), and a second tip (56; 80) extending in parallel to the first tip (56; 80) from the output end (54; 78) of the tool body (48; 74). The first tip (56; 80) has a first length. The second tip (56; 80) has a second length greater than the first length. A mass of the first and second tip (56; 80) is substantially balanced across the output end (54; 78) of the tool body (48; 74) and with respect to the longitudinal axis (A).
