Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a radar system comprising at least three radar sensors (1, 2, 3) which are connected together in a phase-coherent manner. A first radar sensor (1) and a second radar sensor (2) are mutually spaced. A virtual sensor (6) is formed by a bistatic measurement of at least the first radar sensor (1) and the second radar sensor (2) using the MIMO method. At least one third radar sensor (3) is arranged in an offset matter relative to the virtual sensor (6).The radar system is designed to detect an elevation angle of a target using the virtual sensor (6) and the at least one third sensor (3).
