Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a semi-aromatic polyester, and a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. In the present invention, on the basis of the total molar amount of diacid, the molar content of a repeating unit -CH2CH2CH2CH2-O- in dimer(1,4-butanediol) is controlled to be 0.05-0.35 mol%, which can effectively improve the resin color of the semi-aromatic polyester.
