In certain embodiments, task-related data is obtained by a task facilitation service from third-party applications using a suitable interface, such as an application program interface (API), and the third-party applications may include plug-ins or extensions that facilitate communication between the applications and the task facilitation service. For example, task facilitation service may be configured to obtain and process data from websites and generate task recommendations based on the website data.
