According to an embodiment, an electronic device may comprise a display, a memory storing instructions, and a processor. The instructions, when executed by the processor, may cause the electronic device to, based on execution of the binder driver, store one or more messenger data sets for executing a function of a target process using a source process in a buffer area of the memory assigned to the target process. The instructions, when executed by the processor, may cause the electronic device to temporarily refrain from initiating an execution of the function of the target process, using the binder driver, in a first state in which an amount of one or more messenger data sets stored in the buffer area is equal to or greater than a threshold value. The instructions, when executed by the processor, may cause the electronic device to display a visual object indicating information for the source process, by controlling the display.
