PROTECTIVE MASK, PROTECTIVE HALF-MASK AND FILTERING OBJECT

This mask, half-mask or filtering object comprises a filtering part (2). This filtering part comprises at least two layers: - a filtration layer (3) which is suitable for filtering fine solid particles or aerosols (1 to 5 micrometres), or very fine ones (0.1 to 0.6 micrometre), is provided with openings whose dimensions are between 0.1 and 5 micrometres and is made of a nonwoven, woven or knitted material; - an exoskeleton layer (5, 8) which is formed of a woven fabric, a knit or an extruded mesh and whose mechanical resistance is greater than that of the filtration layer, and of which the dimension of the openings with which it is provided is between 0.2 and 5 millimetres. The at least two layers (3, 5, 8) are configured to be applied to each other and are rigidly connected to each other, either at the periphery of the filtering zone or over the whole of their surface, by welding, bonding or surface imbrication.
