The method comprises: acquiring three-dimensional grid data to be processed, and carrying out dimension reduction processing on the three-dimensional grid data to obtain two-dimensional grid data; on the basis of the two-dimensional grid data, constructing a sub-grid hierarchical structure, a sub-grid structure in each hierarchy at least comprising one sub-grid; on the basis of each sub-grid, performing triangular grouping on the two-dimensional grid data to obtain a triangular grouping set corresponding to each sub-grid; according to the hierarchy of the sub-grids, performing hierarchical storage on each sub-grid and a triangular grouping set corresponding to each sub-grid; and determining, on the basis of vertex information and triangular information, a cross section ring of each sub-grid, and rendering the cross section of each sub-grid on the basis of the cross section ring of each sub-grid.
