DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND INPUT/OUTPUT DEVICE

A data transmission method and an input/output device are provided. The method is applied to a computing cluster. The computing cluster includes a plurality of computing devices. A first computing device and a second computing device are any two of the plurality of computing devices. The first computing device communicates with the second computing device through a first channel. A first I/O device is deployed in the first computing device. A second I/O device is deployed in the second computing device. The first I/O device obtains a to-be-processed request, stores the to-be-processed request according to a storage policy, and then sends the to-be-processed request to the second I/O device through the first channel. The storage policy indicates a manner of storing the to-be-processed request in the first I/O device. In the foregoing technical solution, the first I/O device may determine, according to the storage policy, how to store the to-be-processed request, so that storage space of the first I/O device can be used more properly.
