Zusammenfassung:	According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an electronic device may comprise: a housing which includes a first housing and a second housing for accommodating at least a part of the first housing and guiding sliding of the first housing; a display at least a part of which is connected to the second housing and which is configured to be unfolded on the basis of sliding of the first housing; a sensor module which is disposed within the housing and includes a light-receiving unit and a light-emitting unit; a dot code pattern which is disposed in the housing and is configured to slide with respect to the sensor module; and a processor which is configured to determine a sliding distance of the electronic device on the basis of first information which the dot code pattern sensed by the sensor module reflects.
