Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a wind turbine blade extending from a root to a tip. The wind turbine blade comprises a root region and an airfoil region comprising the tip, a pressure side, a suction side and a chord line extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge. The wind turbine blade comprises a leading edge protection element. The leading edge protection element is arranged at the leading edge of the wind turbine blade so as to form an exterior surface at the leading edge of the wind turbine blade. The leading edge protection element comprises a first layer made of a first material provided with an added pigment material, wherein the added pigment material has a first content by weight defined as the weight of the added pigment material divided by the weight of the first layer. The leading edge protection element comprises at least one second layer made of a second material provided with or without an added pigment material, wherein the added pigment material has a second content by weight defined as the weight of the added pigment material divided by the weight of the at least one second layer. The second content by weight is smaller than the first content by weight. The at least one second layer is arranged nearer the exterior surface of the blade than the first layer.
