Zusammenfassung:In a first aspect, the present invention relates to a device (10) for electrochemically synthesizing a plurality of molecules, comprising: (i) one or more electrodes (30) for generating reaction conditions for mediating the synthesis of the molecules, and (ii) a structure (40) having a surface for attaching thereon precursors of the molecules and having a footprint; wherein said surface has an area which is at least 5 times larger than said footprint, preferably at least 20 times, more preferably at 50 times, yet more preferably at least 100 times, most preferably at least 200 times.
