Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an aqueous polymer latex of a film-forming copolymer obtainable by aqueous emulsion polymerisation of ethylenically unsaturated monomers M comprising alkyl (meth)acrylates, comprising 2-octyl acrylate, 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate and isobutyl acrylate as main monomers, monoethylenically unsaturated carbonitrile, monomers having at least one acid group, in specific amounts and further monomers. The polymers are suitable as binders in coating compositions, in particular as polymer adhesives or binders, respectively, especially in aqueous flooring adhesive compositions, which require a reduced thickener amount.
