Zusammenfassung:	Device (1) for preserving beverages, having a measuring device (3) that is suitable and intended to determine a flow rate of a liquid flowing through a beverage line (10), and having a pump device (4) that delivers a preservative, in particular dialkyl dicarbonate, into the beverage line (10), and having at least one receptacle (8, 18) for receiving the preservative, wherein the pump device (4) can be controlled as a function of a flow rate determined by the measuring device (3), characterised in that the device (1) has a first (22) and a second (24) pressure sensor, wherein the first pressure sensor (22) and the second pressure sensor (24) each measure a pressure of the preservative.
