Zusammenfassung:	A kitchen appliance comprises a base having a first portion of a magnetic drive coupling and a container for mounting on the base and having a second portion of the magnetic drive coupling and a tool. A decoupling arrangement is provided for rotating the first and second portions relative to each other such that a magnetic coupling force between the base and the container is reduced, for example even to provide a repulsion force. This then enables the container to be removed from the base more easily.
