Zusammenfassung:According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided a method of controlling a hydraulic power unit, HPU, for providing a pressurised hydraulic fluid to a material testing apparatus, the HPU having an electric motor and a pump, the method comprising: controlling a pressure of the pressurised hydraulic fluid based on a first pressure set point for performing a first material test process; receiving an indication of a second pressure set point for a second material test process to be performed by the material testing apparatus; and controlling the pressure of the pressurised hydraulic fluid based on the second pressure set point for performing the second material test process.
