MOBILITY MANAGEMENT METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

This application provides a mobility management method and an apparatus. The method includes: A first network device sends conditional handover configuration information of a terminal device to a second network device. After obtaining a mobility report, the first network device sends a first message to the second network device to request the conditional handover configuration information of the terminal device. The first network device receives a response message of the first message from the second network device. In the method and the apparatus in the embodiments, a network device can be enabled to obtain a mobility parameter that needs to be optimized. Further, in this way, proper mobility management can be performed, mobility robustness can be improved, and user experience can be improved.
