Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a gas chromatograph 100 for detecting volatile organic compounds and to a gas chromatographic system having the same, wherein the gas chromatograph 100 comprises a pre-concentrator 120 for concentrating an analyte 320, a column 140 equipped with a stationary phase 141 for receiving analyte 320 and a gas detector 150 for detecting volatile organic compounds separated by the column 140. The invention suggests an ejector pump 130 having a motive inlet 131 receiving the carrier gas 310, a suction inlet 132 receiving the analyte 320 and an outlet 133 for providing analyte 320 to the column 140, wherein the ejector pump 130 is configured to accelerate the carrier gas 310 in transport direction T for carrying the analyte 320 in the transport direction T. The invention further relates to an operating method for such a gas chromatographic system.
